Grandad's Greenhouse

Grandad sits in his greenhouse, sowing tiny tomato seeds.
I run up gleefully, he sits me on his lap with his arms wrapped
warmly around me. Sprinkling seeds in my palm, he gestures
for me to sow some too.
We water and nurture the seeds together, watching them
sprout to seedlings, stems, and plump fruit over the days,
weeks and months. We measure the shoots each day on a
wooden rule. All in the warmth of his glass greenhouse.
From green to yellow to red, the colours turn. We harvest the
ripe tomatoes, excited to share them with family. The wisdom
of sowing and growing is rooted within me.
It’s incredible what love, time and patience can do.

All UK orders are shipped via Royal Mail First Class Standard Delivery (1-4 days). Delivery prices begin at £3 and will vary depending on the size and weight of your order, this will be calculated at the checkout.
We aim to dispatch all UK orders the next working day. If you place your order after 1pm on a weekday or over the weekend, it will be processed the next available weekday.
International orders will be sent with either Royal Mail, DPD, UPS, Parcel Force, Hermes or DHL on a fully Tracked service. Shipping costs will be calculated at the checkout and will vary depending on the size and weight of your order.
